Famous for its mineral water and thermal baths, Evian les Bains has carved out a reputation for itself as a chic international resort that is everything to everyone. It is situated on the southern shore of Lake Geneva, yet it is only a 20-minute drive away from the ski resort of Bernex, as well as being close to excellent hiking routes and forests. The views from Evian les Bains are truly awe-inspiring. From the edge of Lake Geneva, the town itself spreads up a gentle incline, which rapidly becomes forested, punctuated only by small hamlets.
